Scheduling for the Whole Family? Here's How to Plan
We love seeing families! To ensure high-quality care for every patient, we kindly request that no more than three family members be scheduled per day.
If you’re bringing a younger child or baby who isn’t being seen, that’s okay—just make sure everyone is feeling well to keep our space safe for all.
How to Prepare for Your Appointment
To save time, you can:
- Fill out forms online through our website
- Print at home and bring them in
- Or arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork in office
Don’t forget to bring:
- A valid photo ID
- Your insurance card
- Any current glasses or contact lenses
- Your contact lens boxes or prescription info, if applicable
Appointment Reminders and What If You're Running Late You’ll receive email and text reminders before your appointment. Running late? Give us a quick call—we can typically accommodate patients up to 15 minutes past their scheduled time. If you’re not feeling well, please reschedule.
We don’t charge a cancellation fee, but 24-hour notice is appreciated.
What to Expect for Contact Lens Fittings
If you're interested in contact lenses—especially if it’s your first time—let us know when booking so we can allow extra time. Trial lenses and training may be needed, and we want to ensure a thorough, comfortable fitting experience.
Eye Exams for Kids: What Parents Should Know
We provide child-friendly exams using:
- Picture and number charts for early learners
- Computerized vision screening
- Minimal drops unless necessary
Parent tips:
- Schedule when your child is well-rested and has eaten
- Bring their current glasses, if they have any
- Feel free to bring a comfort item or toy
Will My Eyes Be Dilated?
In many cases, yes—especially for patients 50 and older, or when evaluating retinal health. We provide temporary sunglasses afterward. For contact lens patients, dilation is scheduled separately. Pediatric dilation is determined individually.
